All you need is a little yarn, a hair elastic and some beads. You can just use whatever beads that you can find in your stash or go hunting in someone elseβs stash π
You can make the scrunchies with any type of yarn you have leftover and you can add beads or not. Personally I think, they get that extra something with the beads added.

Inspiration for The Lazy Scrunchie
Donβt you just love scrunchies? At first, when I started seeing them on both Instagram and Pinterest I must admit I was very skeptical. It was like reliving a constant bad hair bun day from the 90s all over again.
They just never looked cute on me – or maybe I never had a good hair day as a kid back then…
But now itβs like I canβt get enough.
And to be honest, so far they have cured many of my bad hair days. Thatβs why I decided to call the pattern βThe Lazy Scrunchieβ – because some days youβre just too lazy to do anything about a bad hair day. But you still donβt want to look like you just got out of bed all day π
This cute crochet hair scrunchie can also pimp up your hair bun which already looks cute. A scrunchie just adds a little extra cuteness. And depending on which color of yarn you choose to make it in and if you add beads or not, it can become a party bun, a βhyggeβ bun, a beach bun or something else you need it to be.
Altogether, thatβs why I made this super cute free crochet scrunchie pattern for you.
