In this blog post you’ll find the free crochet pattern for the super cute crochet scrunchie, The Lazy Scrunchie. You can make in whatever color you like, and wear them any season.

Make a bunch of them in different colors and give them away as presents to your friend, your mom, your aunt, your granny, your friend’s granny, your neighbor or anyone that needs a pretty crochet homemade present to light up their day. Or keep them all to yourself, if you don’t like sharing 😉

The Lazy Scrunchie is a super easy and cute little project and it’s so great for yarn stash busting. It’s super easy and fun to make. And it doesn’t take long at all.

All you need is a little yarn, a hair elastic and some beads. You can just use whatever beads that you can find in your stash or go hunting in someone else’s stash 😉

You can make the scrunchies with any type of yarn you have leftover and you can add beads or not. Personally, I think they get that extra something with the beads added.

You can make it both fun, feminine and elegant depending on what kind of yarn you choose and what bead color you choose to complement the yarn.

This blog post is your go-to free crochet scrunchie pattern.

Inspiration for The Lazy Scrunchie

Don’t you just love scrunchies? At first, when I started seeing them on both Instagram and Pinterest I must admit I was very skeptical. It was like reliving a constant bad hair bun day from the 90s all over again.

They just never looked cute on me – or maybe I never had a good hair day as a kid back then…

But now it’s like I can’t get enough.

And to be honest, so far they have cured many bad hair days for me. That’s why I decided to call the pattern “The Lazy Scrunchie” – because some days you’re just too lazy to do anything about a bad hair day. But you still don’t want to look like you just got out of bed all day 😉

This cute crochet hair scrunchie can also pimp up your hair bun that already looks cute. A scrunchie just adds a little extra cuteness. And depending on which color of yarn you choose to make it in and if you add beads or not, it can become a party bun, a “hygge” bun, a beach bun or something else you need it to be.

Altogether, that’s why I made this super cute free crochet scrunchie pattern for you.
